Colombe + Jason | Toronto Canada Elopement Inspiration

I teamed up with some amazing vendors to put together this elopement inspiration!

Far too often, couples getting married fall into the trap of planning a big wedding. The truth is, some may prefer a smaller guest list or less attention. An intimate wedding or elopement can leave space for you to make it truly unique and reflective of your relationship. The smaller ceremony also allows a bit of privacy and room to breathe.

The truth is, an elopement doesn’t have to mean running away to Iceland or a distant mountain range together.

You can have an elopement or intimate wedding in your hometown (or city!).

Evergreen Brickworks in Toronto is a sprawling garden mecca tucked right into the city. It’s as private as it is beautiful! If you’re thinking of eloping, know that it’s possible to do without traveling across the world (or breaking the bank).

With only the beautiful Indy dress from Wear Your Love XO, a simple bouquet by Amethyst Floral, and a bomb vegan leather jacket from Avi Scribbles‘ rental collection, this elopement looks totally complete.

If you were to plan a similar elopement, you could expect to spend around $6000 – which is a far cry from the cost of a traditional wedding, which averages around $22,000.

I hope this gives you a few ideas for your own wedding or elopement inspiration! Elopements can be whatever and wherever you like. In the mountains, in the city, totally private, or with a small gathering of friends and family.

Your wedding day is all about you. It’s important that it reflects your values + your vision as a couple.
